When universities opened again some of the newly used methods of distant teaching (and learning) were incorporated in the on-site education. This contribution brings experience of such changes discussed in [2] made in teaching the course Languages, Automata and Grammars taught in the third year of bachelor programme Open Informatics, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague.
